Our Vision for Artistic Creation

At Project Universe, we believe in the power of human creativity and artistic expression. Our ultimate goal is to showcase a rich tapestry of human-made art throughout our game, website, and all associated materials. We envision a vibrant community of artists contributing their unique perspectives and talents to bring our universe to life.

Current State of Our Art

As we’re in the early stages of development, you’ll notice a mix of art styles and sources across Project Universe:

1. Human-Created Art: Wherever possible, we feature original artwork created by human artists. These pieces form the core of our visual identity and represent our highest standard of artistic quality.

2. AI-Generated Art: Due to current budget constraints, we utilize AI-generated art as placeholders in some areas. This allows us to maintain a visually complete experience while we work towards our goal of full human artistic creation.

Our Commitment to Human Artists

We want to be transparent: Project Universe is a labor of love, currently operating on a limited budget. As much as we’d love to commission all our art from human artists immediately, we’re not yet able to offer fair compensation for the volume of work required.

However, this is a temporary situation. Our roadmap includes:

1. Gradually replacing AI-generated art with human-created pieces
2. Building a diverse team of contributing artists
3. Establishing a fair compensation system for all artistic contributions
